Subscribers to The BI Verdict gain access to a series of over thirty product reviews. These offer a solid overview of each product and are written from a vendor-independent perspective.

Structure

Each review begins with an overview of the vendor and goes on to describe aspects of the product such as:

• Licensing;
• Architecture;
• Administration;
• Front-ends; and
• Reporting

The conclusion section gives a general overview of the product’s strengths and weaknesses and lists other similar products. We provide our own screenshots that illustrate key aspects of the product, not just vendor demo shots.

Our most recent product reviews also feature product scores and commentary based on a number of key criteria. We now rate each product based on its suitability for various use cases (eg. analysis, planning, reporting) and functions (eg. enterprise deployment, self-service, operational BI).
